Staying Alive!
Last night I got 5 extra credit points in my Techniques of Teaching Aerobics if I went to this Staying Alive event. I went with Kristina and Eric, and together we learned every dance move to the song Staying Alive. I must say that I wasn't expecting to have much fun, and I was really just going for the extra credit, but after I got there I guess I got my groove on. The dance was pretty long and hard to follow sometimes, but it was still a great time.
I think all that dancing (1.5 hours) may have made my legs tired for my ride today. I didn't have a lot of time because of my busy schedule this week, so I substitued my ride with 2 hours and some climbing. On the climbs I bumped the pace up to zone 4...for the first time of the year. I knew it was the first time of the year going hard because I was breathing sooo heavy. At the end of the ride, I had a terrible stomach ache, but nothing that some Tums and good lunch couldn't fix.
I only have two more tests this week. Today I already took my Health and Wellness test, and in about an hour I have to take Drugs and the Human Body, which may prove to be somewhat difficult. Tomorrow I get to do my lifts test in Techniques of Teaching Weight Training. It's a group test, and my buddy John knows everything about all these exercises, so I'm pretty certain that anything he won't know I'll be able to kick in some info. A little more studying and then I'm done...
