Power Down

I went in to Back on Track yesterday to get some testing done. It's a pretty cool facility and now I'm way into training by power rather than heart rate. I did three tests, a 1 minute, a 5 minute, and a 20 minute. For my 1 minute test I averaged 395 watts, for my 5 minute test I average 303 watts, and for my 20 miute test I averaged 236 watts. The numbers weren't as good as I was looking to get. I wanted to do over 300 for the 5 minute test which I accomplished. The 20 minute test I wanted to get 250, so I ended up a little short. The 1 minute test was just ridiculous, I can't say that I liked it too much.

Right now I'm bidding on a PowerTap SL laced to a Mavic Open Pro on ebay. I have the highest bid right now with three days left, so let's hope that it doesn't get too out of hand. If I end up winning the auction it will be unbelievable, I won't be able to wait until I get it. If not, I think I might end up just asking for a PowerTap wheel for Chrismas. Oh yeah, the wheel I'm bidding on retails for like $1,300 and it's the lighter hub with more features, so it's pretty sweet. I can't wait until my cross bike gets here, I guess it's being shipped out tonight.
