I wrote a big update yesterday, but when I tried to upload a picture of my little neice my whole post was denied. Amen to dial up. A few more weeks and I'll be back to reality...well I guess that's what one might call college life.
I have never swam so much in my life as I did today. I thought I was going to die at one point. I hitched a ride on the back of a kayak over to a ropeswing that we were sessioning that is a couple houses down on our second villa (this one is on a lake and owned by the family). Anyways, on the way back I decided that I would rather swim because kayaking is so boring and requires so much work. Bad decision! It took me so long to go the distance and I was so tired when I arrived back to the camp. Anyways, to make a long story short, swimming isn't nearly as easy as it seems.
I was right about the rest week, tomorrow I have some sprints and saturday I have 40 minutes in zone 4 and that is the extent of my training for the week. My new brakes should be coming in tomorrow so hopefully I'll be able to go rip around on the hardtail after work or something. I just got done watching the movie Hitch and I have added it to the list of lame movies that I will probably never watch again. Recent additions to this list include: Constantine, Sideways, Match point, or pretty much any movie that my mom gets from NetFlix. I have yet to watch a good movie that she has ordered. I hope it cools down because I don't really want to have to try to sleep in this heat...
