Week in Review
So this week was probably the most fun I've had training in a while, and I only rode my bike 3 days. Tuesday, I rode for 3 hours. Wednesday, I got out of class late so went and played basketball with the guys for about 2 hours. Thursday, I went for another 3 hour ride. It was really cold and windy when I got out of class on Friday, so we all ended up playing basketball for 3 hours. Yesterday, I rode up Rist Canyon and down the Poudre for a good 4 hour ride. And today was the most impressive of them all, I went for a 2 hour run.
On my run today, I ran out to the Dixon, did the big loop around that, and then came back. Until I stopped running and did a 10 minute cool down/walk, I couldn't even tell that my legs were tired. Now (45 minutes later) they are feeling it a little bit. At least I have a good rest week to look forward to because I have a feeling I'm going to be hurting until at least Monday.
I should be getting my road bike and lots of goodies this week. I can't wait to start doing some tempo workouts on my road bike...
